FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to rolling stock braking equipment. Proposed method consists in allowance for variation of air control valve pressure affecting brake cylinder pressure variation in calculation of the range of variations. Then, other design parameters are set equal to required braking forces.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of rolling stock unit.
