FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves doing combined epidural and spinal anesthesia. Skin and subcutaneous fat is cut with incision 5 cm far from external anal canal orifice line in parallel to the internal edge of sciatic tuberosity on anal sphincter defect side. Anococcygeal body and coccyx are exposed and mobilized with surrounding tissues. The coccyx is cut off from the sacrum. Retained part of the anal sphincter from its defect edge to ¼ of retained anal sphincter is mobilized. Internal edge of pubic bone is mobilized with its periosteum being cut by 2-4 cm. The first coccygeal vertebra is sutured to internal surface of the right and left pubic bone with 2-4 nonabsorbable ligatures. Mobilized part of the anterior anal sphincter semicircumference is sutured to distal part of the last coccygeal vertebra with monofilament threads from nonabsorbable material. Wound is tightly sutured layer-by-layer with two silicon drains left in ischiorectal space.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in eliminating functional insufficiency of rectum-locking apparatus; restored accumulation function and patency of the rectum.
