SUBSTANCE: invention describes a pharmaceutical composition based on oil for injection contraception and/or for substitution hormonal therapy. The composition comprises the effective amount of ethonogestrel decanoate and/or ethonogestrel undecanoate, and/or ethonogestrel dodecanoate taken in the effective contraception and/or therapeutic acting doses. Also, invention describes a method for carrying out the contraception and/or substitution hormonal therapy. Use of specific ethonogestrel esters provides good pharmacokinetic pattern and gives the possibility for using progestogen in a single dose with the prolonged period of effect.
EFFECT: improved and valuable medicinal and pharmaceutical properties of compounds.
