FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in building and repairing of railway and streetcar tracks and underground tracks. Proposed railway track has two guide rail gauges formed by rails butt jointed with clearance whose end faces on each gauge are parallel to each other and are made in intersecting planes with end faces of heads of other gauge rails. Angles formed by axial line of track and its projection on plane in which end faces of rail head of one gauge are made are not equal to angles formed by axial line of track and its projection on plate in which end faces of rail heads of other gauge are made.
EFFECT: increased service life of railway tracks, streetcars, stock and underground car tracks.
