FIELD: meteorology, in particular, methods for determining meteorological parameters of atmosphere in areas with cloud cover.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to the method, radiation temperature of heat radiation, emitted from upper sections of cloud cover, and temperature of air near Earth surface, are measured. Sections of cloud cover and Earth surface which match spatially and have identical size are singled out. On basis of values of radiation temperature and air temperature near Earth surface measured within limits of each singled out section, their corresponding average values are computed. With consideration of produced values, parameters of atmospheric phenomena within limits of each section of cloud cover are computed.
EFFECT: extended list of determined meteorological parameters.
