FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: forage contains edible sorb basis and the liquid carrying agent containing the functional component, absorbed by a basis. The basis represents protein denaturised by heating and has energy value, at least, 1.5 kcal/g. The basis has the reddened appearance, a moisture content of 30-60% of masses, energy value of 1.8-2.8 kcal/g and elastic structure. Also the basis can have the reddened appearance, a moisture content of 30-20% of mass, the content of protein of 20-40% of mass, energy value of 1.9-2.8 kcal/g and the structure which is elastic at initial pressure of taking a bite. The basis absorptivity rises by removal from a basis of the first liquid, by affecting on it of a source of dry heat. The invention provides also means for injection of the functional component to an animal, and the specified means contains an edible basis-sorbent with the functional component absorbed by it. The functional component can be the nutritious agent or the pharmaceutical agent.
EFFECT: gained forage does not demand specialised processing and simulates natural meat under all characteristics.
