FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for production of moist food compositions for domestic animals, such compositions having the characteristics of dry food compositions. The composition includes 90% - 99% of one or more pieces of meat emulsion and 1% - 10% of one or more binding substances chosen fro the group consisting of sodium alginate, carrageenan, pectin, guar gum, locust bean meal, locust bean gum, egg albumen, collagen, gelatine, dairy proteins, plasma and their combinations; the composition has moisture content over 45% and the characteristics of a dry food composition.
EFFECT: compositions display taste qualities that are relatively high for moist food compositions and, at the same time, have the desirable physical characteristics of dry food compositions.
