FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus with a body divided by horizontal partitions into chambers for liquid and gas entry and discharge. Contact pipes and distribution fittings are placed with a gap to the lower ends of the graded plates of gas-liquid distributors which are pressed to the surface of the lower horizontal partition of the chamber for gas entry. An additional horizontal partition forming a chamber for dispersed particles is mounted in the apparatus body; additional plates forming hermetic cavities with fittings for entry and discharge of the coolant are fixed to the plates of the gas-liquid distributor to allow removal of dispersed particles from the gas prior to its contact with the working liquid and thus to improve efficiency of mass exchange.
EFFECT: efficiency of mass exchange is increased, durability of the apparatus and working liquid is prolonged.
