FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: stirrup pump with a traveling valve is designed to supply fluid under pressure and can be implemented in fluid sprinklers for anti- weed and pest treatment and also for extinguishing creeping forest fires. The stirrup pump comprises cylinder with a connecting pipe, wherein back valve of a leaf type is installed, and piston rod with a piston attached onto it. A delivery valve is fabricated as a hollow blind-end cylinder with a supporting ring; this ring is arranged on the exterior cylindrical surface of the valve; there is also a radial aperture located at the valve dead-end area. The delivery valve with its supporting ring portion is installed inside the piston, while with its open cylinder part it is located inside the rod, thus the valve is capable to move axially against piston and rod.
EFFECT: to simplify a design and to increase reliability of fluid sprinklers due to implementation of a moveable delivery valve.
