FIELD: electricity, electrochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention covers cell of packet cell battery for electrochemical separation of metal from metal ion solutions. Cell contains anode and cathode enclosures separated with insulation diaphragm, anode enclose at that is limited with anodic plate with conductive lug to provide direct current supply to anode, and cathode enclosure is limited with cathodic plate and equipped with exhaust pipe enabling spouted bed of small metal balls. Diaphragm is designed with perforations according to spouted bed of small metal balls providing free circulation of electrolyte, but preventing pass of small metal balls from cathode section to anode one. Cells are collected to packet battery implying modular arrangement of cells. Also there is a provided description of electrochemical separation of metal in cells of packet cell battery implying modular cell arrangement. Productivity is improved owing to generation of spouted bed of small metal balls within cell.
EFFECT: realization of electrode cell with spouted bed for electrochemical metals separation.
