FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for electrochemical processing of water solutions and can be used in processes of electrochemical obtaining of various chemical products by electrolysis of water solutions, in particular mixture of oxidants in electrolysis of water solution of oxides of alkali or alkali earth metals. Module cell, containing cylindrical main and counterelectrode, installed vertically, as well as ceramic diaphragm, placed coaxially to main electrode and separating inter-electrode space into hermetic anode and cathode chambers with devices for supply of processed liquids and discharge of liquids and gases, is additionally provided with upper and lower plugs, and cell contains one or several main vertical electrodes and more than one counterelectrode, with main electrodes being cathodes and counterelectrodes being anodes, and anodes are fixed in upper and lower plugs, diaphragms are fixed either on plugs or on cathodes, and cell is provided with case, on upper and lower parts of which plugs are installed as well.
EFFECT: increase of cell productivity in anode products due to reduction of installation of auxiliary communications, compactness and simplicity of device ensure extension of its functional possibilities.
