FIELD: mining engineering, oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention specifies methods of oil gathering from storage pond surface for further processing within oil, oil-refining and other sectors of national economy having processing facilities available for formation, warehousing and long-term storage of oily waste in clearing pools and slime sewage ponds. Controlled oil intake is carried out from two layers depending upon surface volume on the surface; upper layer with higher oil content goes straight to refining, and layer with higher water content goes back to opposite point of storage pond. Layer with higher water content is heated with secondary heat sources to temperature 70-90°C. Oil is gathered from the surface by pouring to gathering main having maximum length within the range equal to width of storage pond. Pond contents intake from both layers and return of heated layer with higher water content is carries out by means of perforated collector of maximum length within the range equal to width of storage pond. Heated layer with higher water content goes back through perforated collector to near-bottom of storage pond in certain cross-sections. Invention enables to increase efficiency, intensity and performance of oil gathering from storage ponds surfaces.
EFFECT: improvement of oil gathering from storage pond and increase of process performance.
