SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to the area of the heat power industry and can be used in thermal power plants. A method for monitoring airtightness of vacuum systems of turbine plants is proposed, according to which, the fluid is fed to the condenser medium when turbines are stopped for pressurizing the condenser, and condenser leakages are detected visually the fluid leakage locations. The monitoring of airtightness of vacuum systems of turbine plants is carried out by steam leakages through condenser leaking locations, by increasing the pressure in the condenser to an overpressure using the steam of regenerative turbine bleed. The proposed allows to increase the reliability of the thermal power plant by increasing the quality of detecting and elimination of locations of air inflow into the vacuum system of a turbine plant.

EFFECT: increases reliability of thermal power plant.
