SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to the measuring and testing equipment and may be used for the contactless measurement and continuous monitoring of the turbine and compressor vane oscillation amplitude in the operating conditions. The turbine machine vane oscillation amplitude determination is obtained by installing a radar device at the base distance from the turbine machine, at an acute angle to the perpendicular to the vane edge rotation path, extracting the Doppler frequency from the signal reflected from the moving turbine machine vanes, extracting the Doppler frequency from the signal reflected from each moving vane, calculating autocorrelation functions of the obtained signals for each i-th vane, and comparing the autocorrelation function values with the threshold value. The comparison results are used to determine the oscillation amplitude of each i-th vane. The device for the implementation of the method contains a radar device used as a sensor, a Doppler frequency extraction unit, an autocorrelation function calculation unit, and a threshold device unit connected in series.
EFFECT: simpler determination of turbine machine vane oscillation amplitude.
