SUBSTANCE: substance flow is sounded using frequency spectrum of electromagnetic oscillations. The Doppler frequency spectrums obtained and normalized are used for approximating the mean Doppler frequency function using a neural network.

EFFECT: increase in accuracy of flow velocity measurement.
