SUBSTANCE: device for displaying multimedia data combined with text data, described according to MusicPhotoVideo (MPV) format, checks whether the resource, selected by user, is compiled from only audio data or from one or more elements of text data. The data required to display audio and text data is extracted; audio data is extracted for playing back using extracted data; one or more elements of text data is extracted from extracted and data, and then is displayed sequentially using previously defined display method during audio data playback.
