FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method put forward in this invention pertains to ammonium sulphate preparation and consists of ammonia deacidification of black sulfuric acid containing organic admixtures in presence of extraction agent where black sulfuric acid was previously used in the process of isobutane sulphuric-acid alkylation by olefins and contains the admixtures of sulphonic acids and sulphonic esters. The deacidification is carried out at temperature 50-75°C up to water phase pH in the range 6-8. Ethyl alcohol was used as extraction agent; ratio of extraction agent to sulphuric-acid in conversion to monohydrate (100% H2SO4) reaches 0.2-0.45.
EFFECT: due to usage of residual product the process is simplified and raw material base is upgraded.
