FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: said invention relates to means for conversion of reciprocating motion into rotating motion and to engine provided with such a means, with cylinder axes parallel to main shaft axis. The gear comprises a stationary base (13) and ring element (1), located on the outer part of gimbal joint (14), linked to shaft (12) by the inner part via sleeve (2) and cam gear (3). Ring element (1) can be supported by the stationary base (13) face. Push bars can alternately act on the ring element (1) to turn the ring element around the gimbal joint to the position, in which ring element (1) is supported by base (13), and provide for possibility of motion of the ring element centerline along the surface of imaginary cone, with ring element (1) oscillating and its supporting point travelling circularly on the base (13) surface. The shaft has a cam gear (3), gimbal joint (14) being mounted on the shaft cam gear (3). Ring element (1) mounted on gimbal joint (14) is eccentric as regards to shaft (12). Possibility of mutual rotation of eccentric ring element (1) and cam gear (3) of shaft (12), and, respectively, of rotation of shaft (12), is provided, which is achieved due to prevention of unidirectional angular displacement of ring element (1) as regards to stationary base (13) and due to the above displacement of the centerline of ring element 1.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability and reduced noise level.
