FIELD: engine technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines. An internal combustion engine with a drive contains opposite cylinders (2-1), (2-2) located in the housing (1) and in the same axis, in which pistons (8) connected by stems (7) and reciprocating pistons (8) are placed. There is a crankshaft (3) pivotally connected by means of a connecting rod (4) with a drawbar (5). The drawbar (5) is pivotally connected to rocker arms (6) having a hinge connection with piston stems (7). The engine is equipped with pushrods (9), which have a hinge connection with the rocker arms (6) and a bracket (10) fixed to the body (1). The rod (5) is equipped with guides having anti-friction pads fixed to the housing (1). By means of pushrods (9) and rocker arms (6), pivotally connected to the stems (7) of the pistons (8), the transmission of motion from the pistons (89) to the drawbar (5) in a perpendicular direction is provided.

EFFECT: increase in the compactness and providing the connecting rod necks of the crankshaft during the working stroke with two-sided loads.
