FIELD: mechanical engineering; multifunction drives for various industries and transport. SUBSTANCE: inertial hybrid motor has inertial electric motor whose flanges mount opposing cylinders accommodating pistons rigidly fixed to electric motor shuttle through bushings; stem of each spring-loaded valve is passed through piston and mounted within bushing for engaging piston through its end boss. Inertial electric motor has inertial converter mounted in bearings and provided with flanges which carry opposing toothed shells of inductor connected to current supply through circuit-opening and current- collecting devices; slip rings of the latter are installed on inertial converter rotor. Inertial converter that functions to convert reciprocation to rotary motion and vice versa has concentric drums of which one is rotor mounted for revolving without axial displacement in bearings and coupled through satellites to other drum that functions as shuttle. The latter is mounted for rotary and translational motion relative to rotor and for rotary transfer of motion relative to bearings.
