FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to thermometry and can be used when measuring temperature on equipment used in long technological cycles. This result is due to periodic comparison of readings of the thermocouple with readings of a control temperature measurement apparatus, also in the form of a cable thermocouple, the working part of which, during comparison, is placed inside a protective jacket of the thermoelectric converter next to its thermo-sensitive element. The arrangement is supported from the but-end of the protective jacket.

EFFECT: increased authenticity of calibration results and accuracy of measuring temperature of technological processes.
