FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used for measurement of temperature of gaseous, liquid and solid media. Disclosed is a temperature sensor, including a sensitive element, in form of a cable thermoelectric converter, and a protective cover, consisting of a pipe section and a plug. Distinctive feature of proposed sensor is that plug has length equal to or greater than its diameter, and a blind hole intended for arrangement of part of sensitive element from side of working end, wherein end of plug extends beyond pipe by a protrusion value K, in a range 0.5 A ≤ K ≤ 2.0 A, where A is diameter of sensitive element.
EFFECT: technical result is reduction of thermal inertia while maintaining a block-modular design that allows to preserve all advantages inherent thereto.
