SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrical connection system. Electrical connection system comprises the first electrical connection component which is suitable for transmitting power with voltage level higher than 1 kV. Electrical connection system also comprises second electrical connection component, which is suitable for power transmission with voltage level of more than 1 kV and is configured to be connected to first electrical connection component. Electrical connection system comprises a mechanical connection assembly for communicating a driving force for actuating the first and second electrical connection components relative to each other along the central axis of the electrical connection system and between the disengaged and engaged states. Mechanical connection unit is made with possibility to apply one component of driving force in the first eccentric position and comprises a transmission mechanism which is configured to transmit another component of the driving force in the second eccentric position. Second eccentric position has an angular orientation relative to the central axis, which differs from the angular orientation of the first eccentric position.
