FIELD: communication lines. SUBSTANCE: given fibre-optical connector of reciprocating action is used in communication lines and is intended for connection, disconnection and repeat connection of fibers. It matches socket part of connector of ST type and has hollow cylindrical framework, coupling holder located on one end of framework, coupling attached to coupling holder, reinforcing member and terminal attached to the other end of framework, two flexible levers of latch put on outer surface of cylindrical framework or made as one unit together with it and having holes used to fix lugs of socket part, body embracing cylindrical framework, sliding over it and having two grooves to accommodate levers of latch and skewed surface close to grooves to engage front edges of levers of latch. Connector is disconnected from socket part by simple pulling back of body. As result of it skewed surfaces of cylindrical framework interact with levers of latch lifting them and releasing from lugs of socket part.
