FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: said utility invention relates to the communication equipment and may be used during data transmission via an optical fibre channel based on the quantum cryptography methods and algorithms, and during implementation of quantum key management optical networks. For that, the photon flow from the output of the first optical fibre communication line at the sender side is passed through an active optical fibre medium where quantum amplification takes place, the photon flow from the output of the active optical fibre medium is divided into two flows, the first photon flow is introduced in the second optical fibre communication line towards the receiver, and the second photon flow is used by the agent to retrieve information by measuring the polarisation state of the photons it receives.
EFFECT: eliminates possibility of sender or receiver discovering unauthorised retrieval of confidential information from optical fibre channel.
