SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of agricultural engineering industry and immediately concerns devices used for chopping straw and casting it about the field. While the apparatus moves along the swathe straws become picked up and delivered to the sheer bar assembly equipped with fixed knives where they become finely chopped with the rotary drum knives. To the drum plate ribs there are blades attached that discharge the mulch into the dispensing deflector where it becomes mixed with mineral fertilisers delivered from the bin. On the top and bottom walls of the deflector there are guide plates chequerwise arranged that ensure uniform distribution of the material dispersion air flow. The mixture of finely chopped straw mass and mineral fertilisers as discharged from the deflector becomes uniformly dispersed across the field with the help of a baffle board with adjustable guide vanes.

EFFECT: uniform dispersion of chopped straw and fertilisers across the field.
