SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, particularly in ophthalmology and is designed to study the visual acuity. The patient is provided with test objects of different sizes and angular authentication abilities with the same brightness and contrast. The reaction of the test should be taken into account. Test facilities are provided on-screen display simultaneously for a group of patients, who are placed at the specified distance from the screen and give the answers to the provided test objects with the help of remote controls. The number of correct and incorrect answers is taken into account. Visual acuity is estimated for each patient separately, taking the graduation of test-object size, which has been identified correctly at least 65% of claims, as the benchmark for the visual acuity. This method allows extending the additional functionality to diagnose visual acuity.

EFFECT: method allows to extend the additional functionality of visual acuity diagnosis.
