FIELD: medicine; traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for treatment of forward instability of a knee joint. One dorsal stria of iliotibial tract is selected by its section from Gerdy's tubercle to distal edge of lateralis intermuscular septum of a hip. The selected stria on Bunnel from below upwards is underrun by a suture from non-absorbable material. The free ends of sutures, after an underrunning of the selected stria, put through cross-section transcondylar channel preliminary molded by a wire from Kaplan's fibers, and fixed with a tension to a screw neck installed on an internal surface of a femur. The method provides full restoration of movements in a knee joint, an exception of postoperative complications, reduction of treatment terms.
