KNEE LIGAMENT PLASTY Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC A61B17/56

Abstract RU 2764700 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for plastic knee ligaments. The method includes a one-stage arthroscopic restoration of ACL and ALS using autografts. The femoral canal is formed through the anteromedial port, the ACL autograft is fixed. The ALS autograft is taken through the same access. A canal is formed at a point located on the lateral condyle of the tibia 1-2 cm below the joint line, in the middle of a line drawn from the Gerdy tubercle to the head of the fibula. The distal end of the ALS autograft is fixed in the canal. A 5 cm incision is made in the area of the lateral condyle of the femur 1-2 cm anterior to the tendon of the biceps femoris, while the fibers of the iliotibial tract are bluntly pushed 1-2 cm in front of the anterior edge of the tendon of the biceps femoris. A hole is formed with a needle with an eyelet below the center of the lateral epicondyle posteriorly, 2-5 mm from the groove of the popliteal muscle tendon. The proximal end of the ALS autograft is wrapped around the wire in order to determine the center of rotation on the thigh. Flexion-extension movements in the knee joint are performed until the center of rotation is determined. A femoral through channel is formed directly with a needle with an eyelet. The proximal end of the ALS autograft is sutured with a biodegradable suture, immersed and fixed in the femoral canal. The autografts are fixed using biodegradable interference screws.

EFFECT: invention provides increased effectiveness of treatment of patients with ACL rupture by reducing the trauma of the performed knee ligament plasty and more accurate localization of the anatomical landmarks chosen for the implementation of the techniques.
