METHOD OF RECONSTRUCTION OF ANTERIOLATERAL LIGAMENT OF KNEE JOINT Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/56

Abstract RU 2734990 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used in treating instability of knee joint. Gentle muscle transplant is extracted from which the anterior-lateral ligament autograft is formed. Further, its proximal portion is fixed with a non-absorbable suture to the proximal end of the lateral collateral ligament in the area of its attachment to the lateral epicondyle of femur with formation of a half-loop around this ligament. Then, the distal end of the graft is immersed into the formed shin of the shin bone located at the middle of the distance between the Gerdy bug and the front edge of the head of the fibular bone at distance of 10 mm from the articular cleft of the knee joint, wherein the fixation in the canal is carried out at constant traction of the lower end of the graft by an interferential composite screw with dimensions of 6 × 28 mm.

EFFECT: method enables eliminating the risk of transplant damage to the edge of the femoral canal at the output by fixing the proximal end of the autograft in the form of ligamentosis with the formation of a semi-loop around the lateral collateral ligament and the transversal suture, as well as solve the problem of the canal of the restored anterior cruciate ligament and anterolateral ligament in the lateral condyle of the femoral bone due to the absence of a bone tunnel.
