FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to treatment of sewage water, containing at least one recalcitrant hazardous substance, from a group consisting dibenzodioxinhalogenides, dibenzofuranhalogenides, polychlorinated biphenyls, benzol halogenides, alkyl phenols, phenol halogenides, alkane halogenides, alkene halogenides, complex phthalate esters, bisphenols and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. The treatment method involves addition of a coagulant or adsorbent into the sewage water, containing the hazardous recalcitrant substance, separation of solid products, containing the recalcitrant hazardous substance and liquid, disintegration of the recalcitrant hazardous substance, released with the solid product, peroxide, chosen from a group consisting of a salt of peroxyacid, superoxide and organic peroxide. Consumption of peroxide is 100 times the molar quantity relative the molar quantity of the recalcitrant substance.
EFFECT: invention provides for effective disintegration of recalcitrant hazardous substances without carrying out any desorption process.
