FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the field of polymer chemistry, and in particular to the method of obtaining fine-dispersed quick polytetrafluorethylene with high specific surface area. Description is given of the method of obtaining fine-dispersed polytetrafluorethylene, which involves polymerisation of tetrafluorethylene in difluorochloromethane with boiling temperature of minus 40°C in the presence of perfluoro diacyl peroxide at excess pressure of 0.2-1.9 MPa, maintained by addition of tetrafluorethylene, and subsequent release of the polymer through evaporation of the solvent. The solvent and the monomer are evaporated at 20-60°C with stirring of the reaction mass.
EFFECT: increased output of the process of obtaining fine-dispersed polytetrafluorethylene; simplification of the technology of obtaining the desired product and recycling of the solvent and monomer; improvement of the application properties of the polymer, in particular its dispersion and thermal stability.
