FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of obtaining collagenic reticulated porous plastics. The initial system used consists of water and a collagen dissolved in it, capable, under conditions of water crystallisation, of forming a macroscopic gelatinous phase under the action of physical or chemical factors. The initial system is cooled down to temperature at which it turns into solid aggregate state such that, the crystals formed are directed perpendicular to the cooling surface. The solidified system is kept for a period of time sufficient for formation of a polymer gelatinous macro-phase and water is removed.
EFFECT: invention can be used for production of heat-insulated, sound-absorbing, anti-noise and filtering materials, as well as a different type sorbents and catalysts.
