FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: method of fuel components inflammation in the rocket engine combustion chamber is a method of inflammation of fuel components mixture forming a flare of combustion products which inflame the main flow rate of fuel components. Components of mixture are inflamed by focusing of laser energy and generating of optical breakdown. Fuel components and laser energy are supplied for ratio of fuel components in the area of laser energy focusing to be optimal for inflammation. Device realizing this method consists of a case with channel for transportation of fuel combustion products to the combustion chamber, fuel component supply units, energy supplying device, and reaction cavity. Laser candle equipped with focusing lens and installed in the device case in alignment to and with gap relative to the combustion products transportation channel is used as an energy supplying device. Outlet end of the laser candle and inlet end of transportation channel form a reaction cavity. Inlet of laser candle is optically connected to the laser outlet along the light guide. The second variant of this device proposes a target at the outlet end of the laser candle. The third variant of this device uses a fibre for emission transportation to the reaction cavity. In this variant the device has no focusing lens.

EFFECT: reliability of inflammation of rocket fuels in combustion chambers; reduction of electromagnetic interference level.
