SUBSTANCE: method of determining the set of acceptable transport format combinations for the transmission of data in the current time frame is claimed. The technical effect is the efficiency of determining unacceptable transport formats during data communication in a communication system. For that purpose, based on the maximum power level, summed power increase/decrease commands, and the initial power control command, a set of acceptable variable-intensity power control indexes is determined. The acceptable variable-intensity power control index set is used to determine the acceptable channel gain set, and the acceptable channel gain set is used to determine the set of acceptable transport format combinations. The probable set of variable-intensity power control indexes is associated with the channel gain set in order to determine the acceptable channel gain set based on various designs of the transmitter circuit used the data transmission from the mobile station.
EFFECT: possibility to determine unacceptable transport formats during data communication in communication system.
