SUBSTANCE: method comprises determining in the radio network controller that the mobile station is switched between condition of soft service transmission, in which it defines radio channels with multiple cells, and absence of condition of soft service, in which it defines a radio channel with only one cell; defining in the mobile station radio network controller the first temporary identifier or the second temporary identifier as the general identifier for general transmission speed control based upon switching determination; managing the uplink mobile station user data transmission speed in the cell establishing a radio channel with the mobile station using the aforesaid first or second temporary identifiers.

EFFECT: possibility to manage the uplink user data transfer speed.
