FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method can be applied in medicine, specifically in diagnostics of soft tissue conditions at extremity lengthening, and sport medicine. Muscle strength characteristics are analysed my means of ultrasonic scanning. The following characteristics are detected: anatomical diameter of maximum contracted muscle, muscular moment of force, intensity of muscular flexion to anatomical diameter of maximum contracted muscle, human body surface area. Normalized force index of muscular adaptation (NFIMA) is calculated as relation of muscular intensity to body surface area. NFIMA value less than 1.0 indicates that muscular functional adaptation level is low, from 1.0 to 1.5 - satisfactory, and greater than 1.5 - high.
EFFECT: muscle rehabilitation dynamics control.
