FIELD: medicine, diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with predicting by applying ultrasound waves, in particular, it is indicated to predict muscular state at limbs' lengthening due to ultrasound scanning at longitudinal disposition of pickup unit in the middle third of muscular venter of shin in the muscle under testing. Differentiation of muscular bundles, their continuity and contractile reaction : increased angle for inclination of muscular bundles towards muscular longitudinal axis for 2-4° after putting a foot into position of rear flexion up to the angle of 90° at unbent knee joint enables to conclude upon kept reserve muscular capacities. The method enables to evaluate reserve muscular capacities at limbs' lengthening based upon visualization of their morphological characteristics.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
