METHOD OF DETECTION AND LOCALISATION OF TRIGGER ZONES OF BIOLOGICAL OBJECT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B5/53

Abstract RU 2326588 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and used for detection and localisation of trigger zones of biological object. By means of stimulator equipped with relocatable electrodes unit skin surface area of biological object is labile-stably affected with electrical pulses generated from impulses of specified shape and induced damped sine waves. Trigger zone is detected by sequential velocity measurement of induced wave frequency variation within two adjacent areas. Differential modulus of two measured values of induced wave frequency variation is calculated. If specified differential modulus is less than specified value, electrodes are located in next adjacent areas. If specified differential modulus of induced wave frequency variation values is more than specified value then detected area with greater induced wave frequency variation value is area of trigger zone. To localise trigger zone induced wave frequency variation value is measured in adjacent to detected trigger zone area. Differential modulus of induced wave frequency variation is calculated within detected trigger zone and adjacent zone. If this differential velocity modulus is less than specified value, electrodes are located in next area adjacent to trigger zone. If specified differential velocity modulus then border between these areas is supposed to be border of trigger zone, and area with greater value belongs to trigger zone.

EFFECT: reduced time of zone detection for following therapy and elimination of zone not requiring electrical stimulation.
