FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: electrical stimulation of skin surface zones performed. Cardiac rhythm variability parameters are measured and index of activity of regulatory systems (IARS) is determined. If IARS value is higher than three, its components exceeding normal values are identified. The said components are used to determine contraindications for electrical stimulation. Additional examination is performed and zones of stimulation are determined. Electrical stimulation is realised with packs of pulses with frequencies 190÷210 Hz, 75÷79 Hz, 0.1÷10.1 Hz 75÷79 Hz and 9.9÷10.1 Hz with 200÷400 ms regularity through needle applicator with plate-shaped base. Duration of each pack of pulses is set depending on patient's age.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase treatment efficiency and to reduce complications, which is achieved due to taking into account activity of regulatory systems and mode of performing electrical stimulation.
