FIELD: medicine; cardiology.
SUBSTANCE: blood velocity is determined for anterior descending coronary artery in initial condition and after pharmacological hyperaemia. At that linear sensor of ultrasonic device with insonation frequency 7-12 MHz is mounted in third and forth intercostal space of chest, 2 cm ectad of breast bone left end. Anterior descending coronary artery is located by its short axis. And under colour Doppler's mapping with colour scale level 9-14 cm/s blood flow is detected. Sensor is rotated in parallel with long arterial axis, and as filtration levels gets 200, diastolic axis of blood flow is detected at expiration phase. Then dipiridamol is intravenously injected in dosage 0.56 mg/kg of body weight within four minutes, blood velocity is detected again, coronary reserve (CR) is calculated as relation of hyperaemia blood velocity to initial one. If CR value is les than 1, coronary reserve is considered to be low.
EFFECT: extends range of agents available for assessment of left ventricle myocardium coronary reserve.
