SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to enamel compounds for coating objects made from cast iron and steel. The enamel consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 37-46; Na2O 1-2; Na2SiF6 1-2; TiO2 15-20; Li2O 1-2; B2O3 10-15; MoO3 0,1-0,2; ZnO 1,8-2,8; ZrO2 5-10; CaO 1-2; Al2O310-15.
EFFECT: increased chemical resistance of the enamel.
