FIELD: manufacturing of multilayered electrodes.
SUBSTANCE: method includes coating the base from valve metal, in at least two alternate cycles of solution that contains precursor of at least one precious metal or its oxide and solution that contains precursor of at least one oxide of non-precious transition metal with intermediate thermal treatment between the coatings and final thermal treatment at 300-700°C. Proportion between the non-precious transition metal and precious metal is determined as certain and different in the mentioned layers. At that the proportion between the non-precious transition metal and precious metal is higher in external protective layer than in intermediate activation layer. Anode is produced by specified method from solutions that contain tantalum, iridium; tin, antimony and/or copper in different proportions. The cell for application of galvanic coatings from metal and for treatment of sewage contains electrolyte bath and above mentioned anode.
EFFECT: increases operating life of anode and electrode for extraction of gas.
