FIELD: internal combustion piston engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes a double-row V-type engine with the first row made up of smaller diameter working cylinders to fire the fuel mix and the second row made up of larger diameter auxiliary cylinders to force clean air into the working cylinders and to prolong expansion of the working cylinders exhaust gases. The working and auxiliary cylinders are interconnected by relief valves. The engine incorporates traditional ignition, fuel and exhaust systems.
EFFECT: engine simpler design, lower weight and smaller overall dimensions of the engine, increase in its efficiency and decreased fuel consumption.
