FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: control system defines, for every stroke, an appropriate mass of exhaust gases corresponding to preset power output and timing valve open-close time intervals. At combustion products exhaust stroke for a given piston and for time interval defined by control system, the latter closed the exhaust valve and open the bypass valve. Portion of exhaust gases left in piston working chamber is displaced by piston via bypass valve into piston compression section and mixed therewith via atmospheric air sucked in via check valve. At the next stroke, piston displaces in opposite direction while the mix of exhaust gases with air flows via check valve from the piston compression chamber into the combustion chamber.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of engine operation.
