FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind motor rotor incorporates a vertical shaft with the blades arranged on the shaft outer surface. The blades feature a radial size increasing with the rotor height and are angular sectors of the surface of the semi-cylinders or semi-cones of rotation with the axis of rotation aligned with the shaft axis. The blade surface concave side is made rough, while that of convex side is polished. Note that the rotation surface angular sector vertices are located at the rotor lower level and adjoin the shaft.
EFFECT: ease of manufacture, simple design, increased efficiency.
