FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: wind-driven plant of tower type comprising a vertical wind-powered engine kinematically connected by a shaft rotating in the tower channel to a power generator. The plant may be mounted in a free-standing high-rise structure, such as a tower, a stack or a beacon, and a wind rotor of the engine is of folding design, making it possible to remove the rotor from the storm wind into the tower channel, for this purpose the wind rotor in the form of a vertical shaft with elasto-yielding blades - corner sectors of the surface of rotation half-cones with increasing radial dimensions along the rotor height is mounted in a pipe narrowed to a cone, with two longitudinal diametrically opposite slots for blades. The inner diameter in the narrow place of the pipe is more than the outer diameter of the shaft, the outer diameter in the wide place of the pipe is smaller than the inner diameter of the tower channel, and the pipe length is commensurable with the axial size of the rotor. Between the rotor and the pipe there is a mechanism of rolling by twisting of elasto-yielding blades on the rotor shaft and fixation of the assembled rotor in the pipe that may freely move axially along the axial line of the tower channel.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify design of a wind-driven plant and to reduce capital and operating costs.
