FIELD: radio electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to elements of radioelectronic devices, particularly, to wideband signal coaxial transmission lines, and is intended to control power of microwave generators. Microwave coupler comprises a metal housing in the form of rectangular parallelepiped with the connected coaxial main line and control line. The housing has a longitudinal through cylindrical hole, in which a central conductor of the main line is coaxially fixed by the aligned insulators. Rectangular cavity is made between one of faces of the rectangular housing and cylindrical hole surface; a through hole of electromagnetic connection of the main and control lines is made between this rectangular cavity and cylindrical hole surface. Control line comprises a microstrip board with the matched load at one end. Transitions from coplanar to microstrip line are made at the microstrip board. Coplanar line is located at the centre of the microstrip board, which is placed in the rectangular cavity above communication hole.
EFFECT: enlargement of service band more than octave-frequency band.
