FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular, to production of electric machines running either in a generator or a motor mode. This invention allows a simplification of laying the end face winding, concentration of magnetic flux, wasteless production process, maximum torque, better cooling, higher frequencies at low speeds, modular design. The features above result from making the stator packed from a claw-like elements in alternating radial directions connected in the plane of the stator central part along the inner diameter around circular winding. Note that the stator is made up of two demountable identical parts each of which is packed of identical inner and outer shape parts made from a sheet soft-magnet material, assembled and fastened to each other along the inner diameter, while, along the outer diameter of every part, the elements get compacted to enter the gap between the packs of the opposite part to form a stator module. The rotor is made similarly, only the elements are oriented so that their contact surface faces the stator, and along the inner diameter of both parts, they are assembled into packs allowing rotor to enter the gaps formed between the packs of the other side. A toroid-like magnet, or segment-shaped magnets magnetised in radial sense, or short-circuited excitation winding generate a magnetic field for the rotor short-circuited excitation winding.
EFFECT: simple laying of the end face winding, maximum torque, better cooling, higher frequencies at lower speeds, modular design.
