FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: conjunctival graft and superficial sclera graft are cut out. Reach-through incision of sclera and choroid is carried out 3.5-4 mm away from limb. Endoscope is introduced through the incision to perform endoscopic cyclolaser coagulation for 1/2 -1/3 of eye-bulb circumference. Sclera deep layers are removed. Superficial sclera graft is fixed with interrupted suture; running suture is applied to conjunctiva. Application of this method enables to achieve continuous stabilisation of intraocular pressure and avoid necessity of repeated surgeries to provide intraocular pressure reduction.
EFFECT: early postoperative period is characterised by absence of reactive hypertension typical for endoscopic cyclolaser coagulation.
